Welcome to Hourly Art

Each hour a new kaleidoscope image is featured. Enough images are queued to display a new one every hour for a year. Beyond that, new sequences are planned. All the images work together to form a moving kaleidoscope. Sometimes the change between images at the hourly level may be minor, but you can see the progress over time from the thumbnails displayed of yesterday's, last week's, and last month's image. Click on the thumbnails to view past images. Prints may be purchased from the links below the main image. If all of the images for the entire year were put together into a kaleidoscope video at 24 frames per second, the whole video would be a little over 6 minutes long.
